It all started in late 2014, when I took a trip to the driving range. Like many golfers, I wanted to film my practice sessions, but I couldn't find a tool that was easy to use and got the job done. 

Everything on the market was either a low quality selfie stick, or geared towards professional use. I wanted something that was set up in seconds, could fit in my golf or gym bag, and record myself and my surroundings at the same height as a standard tripod.

We started working on the MonoShot shortly after, and launched a successful Kickstarter campaign in June 2015. The $40,000 dollars helped us with an initial order, and thanks to great reviews and great press, we've been able to scale our operation and ship thousands of MonoShots to over 18 countries around the globe.

Our goal is to make affordable, high quality accessories for the modern smartphone photographer. We want to make the tools and resources available to professional photographers, available to everyone.
